Dr. Bart Rademaker M.D.
Dr. Bart Rademaker is one of the rare doctors whose genuine compassion, photographer’s eye, and extraordinary skills make him one of the area’s most sought-after board-certified plastic surgeons and a trusted media advisor.
Born in Holland, raised in the United States, Mexico, and England, and fluent in four languages, Dr. Rademaker is by nature and conditioning a fluid global thinker and a judgment-free partner in care. With over 20 years in clinical practice, he has the ability to hone in on the problems, put them into context, and find the most advantageous solutions.
After graduating, he completed a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and studied under Dr. Ian T. Jackson, one of the world’s leading craniofacial surgeons, a pioneer in reconstructive surgery of the skull and face, as well as cosmetic surgery.
He completed his general surgery residency at Providence Hospital in Michigan and finalized his training with a two-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, distinguished for its cutting-edge medical technology and research and its emphasis on interdisciplinary and compassionate clinical care.
Dr. Rademaker served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at three Florida Hospitals, training interns and residents to approach medicine with high ethical standards and empathy.
As a humanitarian, and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for work in El Salvador, he believes that we must also preserve and respect the indigenous cultures worldwide – for their wisdom and rights to live their own way.
